
Julius Mwebia
Vice Chairman of the Ministry & Director of Mission Trips & Orphanage Grounds
Julius is the Vice chairman of the ministry and Director in charge of mission trips, and orphanage grounds.
He is an Agriculturist and works for the Kenyan government in the ministry of Agriculture and has a wide experience of working with farmers since 1984 and has worked in different counties since then.
Currently Julius is working at his own establishment ‘Jufra Agro strategies LTD’ where he has a store that sells farm inputs & equipment and still working closely with farmers.
Julius is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental science at Chuka University, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Kenya Methodist University and a Diploma in Agriculture from Egerton University. He is also a researcher and is currently writing a research paper on effects of anthropogenic activities on soil properties in Meru south.
He is a born again Christian and the chairman of men fellowship in his church. He is also a lay preacher in schools, colleges, and universities. He has also been involved in missions, one of which 6000 souls came to Christ in the entire Tharaka Nithi County lives in his memories.
Mr.Julius is married to Frashia and is blessed with 2 children: Evelyn Wanja, who has graduated from high school, and Jesse Murimi, who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law and has adopted 1 child who is in high school.
He came to learn about KCK through Humphrey after he came back from USA and he got interested with what he was doing and partnered with him.
He aspires to see the kids grow to be useful members of the society. His input is in mentoring, training and rearing the destitute children and making them responsible citizens of the county.
“The fact being poverty is growing due to climate change and other factors. KCK need is growing day by day and so KCK needs to grow and expand to meet this need. There is therefore a higher need to have enough human resource, infrastructure e.g. the Technical school so as to cater for this challenge, “said Julius.
